WAA Girls Softball sponsors a girls youth softball program in the Webster, NY community. This recreation softball league is composed of five (5) age group divisions open to youths, age 4 to 19: 

T-Ball: 4 to 6 year-olds

Rookies: 7 to 8 year-olds

Minors: 9 to 10 year-olds

Majors: 11 to 12 year-olds 

Seniors: 13+ year-olds

League ages are determined as of December 31 of the previous year for the upcoming spring season. Participation is not restricted to residents of Webster; we welcome players from neighboring communities looking to learn the fundamentals of the game and to compete in a fun and supportive recreational softball program. 

Registration for recreation softball opens in November of the year prior to the season. Special requests for teams, teammates, or coaches at the T-Ball, Rookies, and Minors divisions will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed. Teams in the Majors and Seniors divisions are formed through a draft held in early April, just prior to the beginning of the season. The Spring season usually begins in mid-April and lasts through mid-June, followed by postseason play in the Majors and Seniors divisions. The Fall season starts in mid-August and runs through September. All games and practices are held at the 8-field Ridge Park Softball Complex.
